Vida Lisa Malcanas has been singing since a very young age. She grew up right here in Pittsburgh to immigrant parents from Lithuania. Music was always a part of her world. Vida's dad had a beautiful singing voice and played piano by ear. She is grateful to have been blessed with the same singing talent. Once in high school she starred in every school production. She was professionally trained in voice for many years by opera singers and a member of the N.Y. Metropolitan Opera company. Erin Burkett

A Pittsburgh native, singer/songwriter Erin Burkett has soulfully pronounced uniquely powerful vocals to dedicated audiences throughout Pittsburgh and the North Eastern United States for over twenty years. Ms. Burkett has written and produced two CDs of original music. Her performance experience includes innumerous gigs at clubs and festivals, television appearances and radio spots, in addition to appearing on various other's recordings. She receives radio play locally, on National public Radio, and in Europe. Rooted in the tradition of spirituals and seasoned in a dozen - year study of blues, Burkett's music has been energized by her recent journey into more improvisational music. Burkett's most current project is a creative merge of the heartfelt vocals she has become known to unwaveringly deliver teamed with legendary jazz and classical bassist, Virgil Walters of Trio Grande. Bringing a diverse and unexpected lineup of music, with a decidedly jazzy edge, together they are creating a musical breath of fresh air.    View web site >>
